How this sign-in is protected
- EnforcedYour connection is encryptedNothing you type here travels in the clear, and it is only ever sent to your own library's address.
- ConfigurableAttempt throttlingRepeated failures pause sign-in, counted per account and per network address together.
- EnforcedNo account enumerationOne generic failure message. Nothing on this screen confirms that an account exists.
- ConfigurableSession handlingSessions expire on your library’s schedule and can be ended from your profile.
- EnforcedAudit trailEvery attempt, lock, unlock and method change is written to the library’s audit log.
