Outside the proxy rules

One title on the platform opens and another does not

A subscription can cover part of a platform. Paste the address into the checker above: it says whether this library licenses that exact title, and offers an interlibrary request when it does not.

Refused by the publisher

The publisher says my institution is not recognised

That is a failure on the publisher’s side of the hand-off, not with your account. Report it to the library with the address you used — the library raises it with the provider.

Wrong institution remembered

A publisher keeps signing me in as another university

Publisher sites remember the last institution you picked. Clear that choice on their site, then return here and open the resource from the portal.

Two systems, and they are not the same one

Portal sign-in authenticates you to this library portal, through whichever method your institution enabled.

The proxy is what identifies the institution to a publisher when you open a licensed resource. It is not a way to sign in to the portal, and signing in to the portal is not a way to reach a publisher.
